The Next Generation

Dennis Mikula, Sr and Dennis Mikula, Jr

(CLIFTON, NJ — March 1, 2022) For three generations, Mikula Contracting has been providing land improvement solutions and unmatched quality service for commercial and residential clients of all sizes. As our family owned and operated business enters its 76th year and third generation of family leadership, we continue to go above and beyond the industry standard.

Our company’s history and our core values provide a clear blueprint for continued growth under this third generation of leadership. That blueprint includes the following changes to our management team, which I am very pleased to announce:

  • Ryan Mikula has been named Director of Construction Services and Fleet Management. For almost 20 years, Ryan has played an integral role in our field services, and his wealth of experience encompasses virtually all of the services we offer.
  • Kylie Cimmino, our Operations Manager, has been promoted to Director of Business Operations and Administration. Kylie’s many years of experience streamlining management systems have already proved invaluable to our company during her tenure.
  • Our Client Services Manager, Hugo Castillo, has been promoted to Director of Project Management and Client Services. Hugo is an exceptional customer service professional, and he is well-positioned to apply those skills in the project management arena.

We look forward to announcing some more exciting changes to our team in the coming months.

Our Founder, Nick Mikula

As our family’s next generation takes on the leadership of our company, I would like to take a moment to look back on our past leadership. My grandfather, Nick Mikula, Sr., founded the company in 1946 and set the groundwork for our work ethic and integrity, which we follow to this day. In the early 1980s, my father, Dennis Mikula, Sr., assumed the leadership role and carried our company to where it is today. He showed all of us how to not only survive but to thrive during very volatile times in the construction industry. Relying on the example and unparalleled skill and vision of these great men, I am excited to lead our company into the future. I am very fortunate to have experienced and learned from their decades of outstanding leadership.

Our team looks forward to upholding their legacy by providing our clients and partners with exceptional service for many years to come. I would like to personally thank our employees, clients, partners, vendors, professional associations, and industry friends for playing such an important role in our success so far, and for continuing to place their trust in us as we move into the future.

Best Always,

Dennis Mikula, Jr. President Mikula Contracting, Inc. 2020 New Jersey Family Business of Year
